I'm starting "Inspirations" as a non-profit fund raising business. I'll be building fishing rods for individuals with special circumstances, as well as for raffles to raise money for specific issues.

USMC Fishing Rod
I built this rod for a friend's son who is a Marine. It's a 6'6" spin rod built to tackle large bass down South where he is stationed.

Chris,
I was admiring your work on the USMC fishing rod you posted a few years ago. My son is a new Marine still in training. He is through boot camp but now is in infantry training in North Carolina. Besides always wanting to be a Marine since the age of 8 he loves to bass fish. I bought him an Ardent USMC bait casting reel from Gander Mountain today and was wondering if I could find a pole to go with it. Would you be interested in making me a bait casting rod? I live in Rochester New York. My email address is dsmith@eastrochester.org.
Hi, my name is Chris but my nickname is Froggy (it's a voice thing). I've been married for 15 years and have two great kids, Thomas (15) and Heather (13).
I re-started building fishing rods in May '06. I took a 25 year hiatus to go to high school, do a 6 year stint in the Navy, and work. Melissa, my better half, is a great supporter of my endevour!
That's me, in a nutshell.
