I'm starting "Inspirations" as a non-profit fund raising business. I'll be building fishing rods for individuals with special circumstances, as well as for raffles to raise money for specific issues.

These are the two reel seat inserts I turned. The top one is African Blackwood, and has tourquoise inlayed in it. The bottom one is a piece of Rosewood, and has a Lady Amherst feather along with some grizzly hackle set in it. If I choose to swap the feather inlayed seat, the bag with extras goes with it so the recipient may do the same inlay on the fishing rod he/she builds with it. I'm leaning towards the LA feather inlay.
Hi, my name is Chris but my nickname is Froggy (it's a voice thing). I've been married for 15 years and have two great kids, Thomas (15) and Heather (13).
I re-started building fishing rods in May '06. I took a 25 year hiatus to go to high school, do a 6 year stint in the Navy, and work. Melissa, my better half, is a great supporter of my endevour!
That's me, in a nutshell.
